If you didn’t know, the Dollar Tree has some pretty great crafting supplies and they cost $1.25, they recently had to raise their prices. If you are in the US (or parts of Canada), chances are there is a Dollar Tree near you. They are located in the 48 contiguous states and 5 Canadian provinces and if you are a crafter they are filled with a bunch of great stuff you can get for low prices!!
This is my must-have haul from the Dollar Tree
- Bags – These can be used to store small items, or to package your smaller products. They have some with 20 count and some in the party section with 40 count
- Clips – Personally I use these when I am gluing my acrylic, but you can use these for a million different things in your craft room
- Mixing Palette – I use these for, well, mixing. I mix paints, resin, glitters and all kinds of things in these. they come in a pack of 6
- Double Sided Tape – I use these on my tumblers to add strips of the glitter colors
- Popsicle sticks – these can be used for tons of crafting needs, but I use them to stir my resin.
- Mod Podge – a great craft adhesive you can use to seal or glue glitters and papers
- Cutting Mat – It’s a miniature self-healing cutting mat!
- Sculpting tools – These can be used for clay sculpting but I actually use the sharp part for weeding
- Clear Shelf Liner – I use this as transfer tape for my vinyl
- Residue Eraser – This gets rid of sticker residue
- Nail Polish Holder – I use this to put my weeding trash in while I am weeding large projects
- Permanent Adhesive – They have small rolls of permanent adhesive in both large and small sizes that fit your cricut or cricut joy in various colors, even glitter
- Scissors – I don’t know about you, but I lose mine all the time, so I always pick up extras
- Scraper – used for vinyl projects
- Rotary Cutter – Can be used for many applications, I use mine for vinyl trimming
- Weeding Tools – They have actual weeding tools and they really work
- Stencil Brush – I use this to add paint to my engraved acrylic but you can always use a good stencil brush.
If you were to buy this entire lot of supplies it would cost you under 25 dollars so next time you are in need of craft supplies, head to the dollar tree first before you over-spend at the craft store.
